We are currently seeking a .NET programmer/web designer to design, program, test, and document business applications written in VB.NET, ASP.NET, and classic ASP.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Uses knowledge of pertinent work processes and procedures to provide solutions to business or technical problems.
- Develops and maintains business subsystems such as inventory control, financial applications, order fulfillment, and project management.
- Works with project manager to accomplish tasks in a timely fashion.
- Trains end users on established programs.
- Provides on-call support and problem resolution for computer applications.
- Creates technical manuals and documentation on systems and applications.
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Knowledge or experience in one of the following areas: .NET, classic ASP.
- Proficient in SQL statements.
- Excellent problem solving and communication skills.
- Ability to learn and apply new technologies.
- Self-motivated, responsive, and flexible.
- Reliable.
- Knowledge of graphic programs such as Photoshop and Flash helpful but not required.
- Familiarity with C# and the Microsoft 2.0 Framework a plus.
- Some travel required.
